Enduro FIM Vintage Veteran Trophy in La Cerdanya

Xavier Castey is the soul of Moto Club La Cerdanya, organizer of the Enduro FIM Vintage that will be contested between the 18 and the 21 of October.

From his father he inherited the passion for off-roading, it's not for nothing that the Motos Miquel repair shop was and continues to be quite a reference, from where they worked hard and well in favor of our specialty.

He stood out as an enduro rider and has successfully participated in two editions of the FIM Vintage Veteran Trophy.

What awaits the public and the riders who attend the Enduro FIM Vintage?

A very beautiful enduro test in an incomparable setting. A spectacular paddock like few, very well equipped, Closed, vigilant, with services, bar, restaurant, a great stage, light points for caravans.

Let's talk about the race.

On Tuesday 17 in the morning we have technical and administrative checks and in the afternoon, from the 19 hours, the presentation of the teams and pilots from the different participating countries.

Wednesday 18, first contact.

To them 9 in the morning we will start with a rally of an hour or so and the acceleration test. Around one in the afternoon this first day of making contact will end. We will pass through the municipal area of ​​Puigcerdà and Fontanals.

Thursday 19?
In the direction of Guils, Ger and Fontanals, we will have a rally with two laps on the course with a section and test. The rally will take place on a somewhat stony terrain, few clues, senders. It is not an impossible journey, but yes tired, will have to work…

Friday, again an intense day…

Yes. Second day of long race. We will go to the municipality of Fontanals with more trails, some pool, stones…!, very beautiful!

I chrono them?

So many of the day 19 like those of the day 20 they are located on the same land, but they are different. They have some 3,5 kilometers in length and will be between four and a half and five minutes. Thursday's is more twisted than Friday's, which has longer lines.
Saturday, end of party.

A rally of only 15 kilometers and the motocross test next to the paddock. In the afternoon we will present the prizes.
What does it mean for a Moto Club like that of La Cerdanya to organize an event of this importance?
For us, setting up a race of this magnitude is the most we can aspire to. We believe that it will be a success that would not be possible without the help of institutions such as the Regional Council or the town councils of Fontanals, Puigcerdà, Ger, Bolvir and Queixans. I, of couse, the collaboration of volunteers and sponsors.

An illusion?
